Kingsmoor House

The space

Kingsmoor is perfect for a family or friends getaway. Our spacious family home is set on a hill with far-reaching views across the valley, the village of Box and to Bath beyond.

With 5 large double bedrooms and plenty of living space inside and out it’s a gorgeous, comfortable and relaxing stay for up to 10 guests.

It’s within walking distance to all village amenities (shops, pubs etc) and within easy reach of the city of Bath, many places of interest, the M4 and main rail and bus links.

Please note

As this is our full-time family home unfortunately the house is not suitable for hens, stags or party groups.

If unsure please contact us first and we can have a chat and take it from there 🙂

The house

This is a gorgeous double bay fronted Edwardian home. It has been lovingly refurbished to restore original period features including fire places, stained glass and decorative woodwork.

DOWNSTAIRS
To the front of the building there are two bright, spacious reception rooms with far reaching country views.

RECEPTION ROOMS
The living room has a large flat-screen smart TV, 6:1 surround sound system and a working wood burner.

The second lounge also doubles up as a private cinema room, equipped with a 120inch screen, an HD projector, full 7:1 surround sound, a large DVD library and open Netflix account.

The 3rd reception has a selection of games and books plus a TV and audio system – a great games room or quiet escape.

DINING
A separate dining room adjoins the large fully equipped kitchen/diner with a large range offering 7 hobs, 2 ovens plus a grill, a separate pantry and storage room with additional cookware and crockery, a TV and bi-fold doors that open out onto the rear patio and secure lawn garden beyond.

LAUNDRY ROOM
The utility room at the rear of the building is fully equipped with a washing machine, separate tumble dryer, Belfast sink, drying racks and ironing facilities. Yes there’s a downstairs loo too.

UPSTAIRS
You’ll find the 5 very large double bedrooms (one en-suite) with high ceilings, flat screen TVs and great views. There are 3 full bathrooms, a spacious walk in shower room and a separate “throne” toilet room.

OUTSIDE TERRACE
To the front there is a large private terrace with seating where you can enjoy panoramic views over the hills and valley and soak up amazing sunsets. Steps lead down to a large front lawn area.

REAR GARDEN
To the rear there is a private patio adjacent to the kitchen with dinning table and chairs. This leads to a secure lawn area which is a great space for croquet and other outside games. A BBQ can be made available on request. We would ask that it’s left clean on departure.

PARKING
There is private off street parking for up to 4 cars, directly outside the property.
